About Frenectomy Guide
Frenectomy Guide is a free, independent guide to oral surgery centers across the United States. We built it because finding the right frenectomy provider is harder than it should be: search results mix hospital treatment rooms, independent dental offices, oral surgery practices, and equipment vendors, and it is rarely clear who does what, where, and whether a facility is accredited. Our goal is to make that first step — finding a qualified clinic near you — simpler and far less confusing.
Our mission
Our mission is to connect patients with accredited oral surgery centers. Oral restrictions such as tongue-tie and lip-tie are common — they can affect feeding in infants and speech, breathing and oral hygiene in older children and adults — and they are treatable. Treatment starts with an accurate assessment, and an accurate assessment starts with the right provider. The directory exists to help you compare nearby options, spot accreditation signals, and contact the clinic directly. There are no middlemen here: no forms routed to marketing companies, and no appointments booked through us.
Where our information comes from
Every listing on this site is compiled from publicly available sources. We do not use private databases or purchase records. Specifically, we draw on:
- the federal NPI (National Provider Identifier) registry, for organizational and practitioner details;
- information published by the clinics themselves, such as their own websites;
- publicly available Google Maps ratings and review counts, so you can see how patients describe their experiences;
- publicly available AAPD (American Academy of Oral Surgery) accreditation indicators, where a facility holds them.
Because public sources can lag behind reality, details change: phone numbers are reassigned, offices move, services expand. That is why every page on this site asks you to verify details with the clinic directly before you rely on them.
Our independence
This directory carries no advertising, and clinics cannot pay to be listed, to rank higher, to be featured, or to influence reviews. Listings are free, inclusion is based on publicly available information, and we earn no commission when you call a clinic or schedule a frenectomy. Nobody has bought a position on this site, and nobody can. That independence is the point: our only incentive is for you to find accurate information quickly.
For clinics
If you represent an oral surgery facility, your basic listing exists because of public records — you do not need to do anything to appear here. If you would like details corrected, expanded, or updated (services, hours, insurance accepted, accreditation), email us and we will review your request.
